Bonding Agent/Interface Adhesive for Concrete and Mortar (CapcoBond PVA)

CapcoBond PVA is a water-based polymer that is used as an adhesive for building materials such as concrete and concrete repair. The CapcoBond PVA can increase concrete bonding since it is a resin that is easily dispersed in the water.

This product is produced based on the general requirements of the Iran National Standard No. 1922. Also, this product meets the requirements of the ASTM C1059 Standard.

The instructions to use the product:
  • To increase the bonding between concrete, mortar, and tile adhesive: Dilute the product having a 1:3 ratios with water and use it to make different types of mortar and concrete.
  • As a color (lining) primer: After cleaning, the desired base surface should be covered with the product that is diluted with a 1:3 ratios with water to fill all pores.
  • Concrete repair: first the damaged concrete surface is prepared and cleaned completely. Then the damaged surface must be coated with a 1:1 mixture of the product and water and let form a sticky compound. Meanwhile, the repair mortar is made as follows and applied on the sticky film.
  • The instruction to make the repair mortar: The mixture of cement and fine sand is mixed with a ratio of 1 to 2 to form a mortar with a solution of the aforementioned adhesive and water with a1 to 4 ratios.

Note: This product is not waterproof and loses its durability against moisture.

Curing: The CapcoBond PVA mortars are based on cement that needs to be cured. CapCure products can be used for this purpose.
