Hardener and Water Repellent for Concrete Slabs and Floors (Topseal)

Topseal is a solvent-free, silicate-based, water-repellent, and hardening agent for concrete floors. It enhances the surface abrasion resistance and significantly reduces water absorption. Moreover, it improves surface resistance against chemicals, hydrocarbons, and weak acids.

This product complies with BS EN 1504-2 standards and can be utilized in accordance with BS EN 1504-9.

The advantages of using the product:
  • • It reinforces, strengthens, and enhances the abrasion resistance of concrete surfaces.
  • • It provides a high-gloss finish (shiny appearance) on hard concrete and polished surfaces.
  • • It creates water repellency on surfaces, making them waterproof against water, oil, and other liquids.
  • • It reduces staining and contamination on concrete floors. It's user-friendly, odorless, and solvent-free.
  • • It offers a fast application process with quick curing time.
The usage of the product:
  • • To harden various concrete floors such as parking lots, production halls, warehouses, etc.
  • • For waterproofing and water repellency of concrete floor surfaces
  • • To create glossiness and enhance the shine on hard concrete and polished concrete surfaces.
The allowable range and instruction to use the product:

For each square meter of surface, between 200 to 300 grams of top sealant is applied.

  • Surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned from any contamination, dust, and loose particles. The base concrete should have a minimum age of 14 days (preferably wait for 28 days).
  • The surface should be completely dry for at least 48 hours before application. Apply the ready-to-use top sealant with a large paintbrush, roller, or spray until saturation, ensuring no excess material remains on the surface. If any excess material remains after solidification, it should be washed off completely after gelation. It’s advisable to refrain from using the surface for one day after application at a temperature of 23 degrees Celsius.

Note:

  • Clean tools immediately after application and before complete drying.
  • Do not dilute the material with water.

Safety Precautions When using the product:
  • • Blink in water for at least 15 minutes in case of eye contact.
  • • Wash your skin with clean water for 15 minutes in case of any contact with the skin.
  • • The contaminated clothes must be washed with suitable detergents to be usable for further work.
  • • It is necessary to visit a doctor if the injured individual still feels uncomfortable.
