Physical and Chemical Specifications of the HardChair:
  • The raw material used in the production of spacers is polyolefin. This type of plastic is resistant to acidic and basic materials commonly used in the construction industry.
  • Spacers are available in all colors but an additional cost will be incurred for colors other than black.
  • Concrete reinforced with plastic spacers is resistant to fire conditions, a fact confirmed by the Building Technology Institute in Berlin.
Maintenance and Safety:
  • • When spacers are exposed to direct sunlight for an extended period, it's necessary to cover them in such conditions.
  • • Excessive use of formwork oil might lead to incomplete adhesion between the spacers and the surrounding concrete during formwork. Therefore, sufficient care should be taken in this regard.
