Supplementary Materials Containing Silica Fume and Water-Reducing Admixture and Polypropylene Fibers (CapcoGel FD)
CapcoGel FD is a supplementary material containing microsilica with strong pozzolanic properties, along with a superplasticizer additive and polypropylene fibers. It is used to increase the flowability of concrete/mortar without changing the water-to-cement ratio or to reduce the water-to-cement ratio without reducing flowability. This product reacts with calcium hydroxide resulting from hydration due to its strong pozzolanic properties. The secondary products of pozzolanic reactions reduce the permeability of concrete and improve its mechanical strength and abrasion resistance. Additionally, the fibers present in it help control potential cracks caused by plastic shrinkage in concrete.
