The raw material used in the production of spacers is polyolefin. This type of plastic is resistant to acidic and basic materials commonly used in the construction industry.
Spacers are available in all colors but an additional cost will be incurred for colors other than black.
Concrete reinforced with plastic spacers is resistant to fire conditions, a fact confirmed by the Building Technology Institute in Berlin.

Maintenance And Safety

• When spacers are exposed to direct sunlight for an extended period, it's necessary to cover them in such conditions.
• Excessive use of formwork oil might lead to incomplete adhesion between the spacers and the surrounding concrete during formwork. Therefore, sufficient care should be taken in this regard.
