Bonding Agent / Admixture for Concrete and Mortar (CapcoBond 121)
CapcoBond 121 is a water-based polymer which is used as bond for different types of materials including concrete, mortar, and tile adhesive. CapcoBond 121 can increase cohesion of concrete components since it is based on a water emulsion resin.
This product is produced according to the Iran national standard No. 19224. Also, this product conforms to requirements of ASTM C1059 Standard.
To increase the bond of concrete, mortar, and tile adhesive: This product dilutes with water to cement ratio of 1 to 3 and is used to make different types of mortar and concrete.
As a paint primer (lining): surface of the desired base should be coated with the product diluted with 1:3 water to cement ratio after cleaning to fill the pores.
Note: the aforementioned product does not have sealing property and loses its durability.
Curing: The CapcoBond 121-based mortars are cement mortars which should be cured. Therefore, the CapCure products of CapCo Company can be used for this purpose.
