Bonding Agent / Interface Adhesive for Concrete and Mortar (CapcoBond AR)

CapcoBond AR is a water-based polymer that is used as a bond for different types of materials including concrete as well as concrete surface repair. Since CapcoBond is a resin being dispersed in water easily, it can increase the bond between concrete components.

This product is produced according to the Iran national standard No. 19224. Also, this product conforms to the requirements of the ASTM C1059 Standard.

The advantages of using bond:

• Improves the cohesion and uniformity of concrete and mortar

• It does not have any Chlorine and is suitable for reinforced and pre-stressed concrete.

The usage of bond:

• Binding fresh concrete to old concrete
• Using it in mortars to repair the honey-combed concrete
• Curing the surface of the concrete
• Improving the durability of the mortar
• Surface sealing

The instructions to use the product:

As a bond: the surface should be clean and free of any dust, oil, and other contaminations. A film of the mentioned bond is applied on the primary surface of the concrete and the new mortar or concrete will be implemented on the surface once it becomes adhesive.
Concrete repair: First, the cement mixture is prepared with a ratio of 1 to 3. Then the CapcoBond AR product of 10% by weight of cement is batched. Next, the CapcoBond AR is added to the aforementioned mixture and can reach the required uniformity with water and finally can be used as a repair mortar. The tools must be washed with water after the work is finished.

Safety Precautions When Using the CapcoBond AR:

• Blink in water for at least 15 minutes in case of eye contact
• Wash your skin with clean water for 15 minutes in case of any contact with the skin.
• The contaminated clothes must be washed with suitable detergents to be usable for further work.
• It is necessary to visit a doctor if the injured individual still feels uncomfortable
