The instruction to use the fast-setting admixture:
  • Surface preparation: the desired joint must be split apart using a mechanical method so that a hard surface is obtained. This should be done in a way that it develops a negative slope on the edge of joints to involve the WaterCut mortar. Then surface contaminations must be cleaned with suitable methods and finally, washed completely with high-pressure water.
  • Mix some water with WaterCut with a ratio of 1 to 3 manually or by a trowel in a suitable container, and uniform it immediately. It is necessary to prepare as much as it is completely used before setting. Rub suitable amounts of mortar on the ready joint, and compact it completely so that it is fully stuck to the surface. For sections with water leakage from the joints, it is necessary to hold the mortar on the joint to reach the setting. The minimum thickness of the mortar must be 2 cm.
