” PVC Waterstop” produced by Capco are made of high-quality flexible PVC material and are used for waterproofing expansion and construction joints in concrete structures. These waterstops come in various sizes and are formulated and manufactured to provide high flexibility and long-term durability. Capco has taken the initiative to develop and regulate waterstop standards in Iran, first established in two parts: ISIRI 13277-1 and ISIRI 13277-2. The design of all dimensions, grooves, and holes in the manufactured waterstops by Capco is based on the first part and other technical requirements such as elongation increase during aging (elongation) according to the second part are controlled.

The instruction to use the PVC Waterstop:
- If a waterstop has undergone deformation or damage that affects its functionality, it should not be installed.
- Before installing waterstops, ensure they are free from warping, wrinkles, cracks, or any other deformities.
- Any deformation occurring during transportation or storage of external waterstops should be corrected using tension and thermal methods on a smooth surface.
- Waterstops should only be installed when the air temperature is above or below ±0 degrees Celsius.
- Placement of external waterstops: They should be free from contamination and freezing. If necessary, they should be cleaned before concrete pouring (removing any residues from workshop operations like dust, sand, concrete leftovers, oil, grease, snow, ice, etc.). This is especially crucial for external waterstops installed on the structure’s floor.
